Aegean Cheese and Wine has been created for Wine lovers who appreciate beauty, are interested in learning and enjoy sensory adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Aegean Cheese and Wine takes place every Thursday from 18:30 to 21:00 at the Cycladic Caf\u00e9 of Cycladic Art Museum. It starts with a tailor made tour of \u201cWine in Antiquity\u201d. Your tour guide, a talented archeologist, will show you selected exhibits that reveal the history of wine and its role to the everyday life of ancient Greeks. Basic stops of the tour are: the worship of Dionysus, the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, the production and types of wine in antiquity, the diet of Ancient Greeks and last but not least the ceremonies and the ritual of Symposium.
