We will spend enjoying nature and the picturesque streets of Metsovo and then relaxing at our beautiful hotel room. In the afternoon we will get introduced to the world of the wines of Metsovo with a tour and tasting of selected wines of the Katogi Averoff Collection at Katogi Winery. We will then participate at an interactive game of cheese\, chutney and wine pairings. The stars of the evening will be the delicious local cheeses of the Foundation Tositsa Dairy\, the handmade chutneys of Chefstories and the great wines of Katogi Averoff. SUMMARY:Taste of Culture - Aegean Taste
DESCRIPTION:Aegean Taste is one of the two gastronomic experiences of Taste of Culture\, the brand new cultural and gastronomic initiative of Cycladic Art Museum and Trip2taste\, that take place every Thursday and Friday at the Cycladic Café. Aegean Taste has been created for Greek and foreign visitors who are interested in Cycladic Art and History and want to explore new tastes. \nAegean Taste takes place every Friday from 12:30 to 15:30 and starts with a tailor made tour of “Wine in Antiquity”. Your guide\, a talented archeologist\, will show you selected exhibits that reveal the history of wine and its role to the everyday life of ancient Greeks. Basic stops of the tour are the worship of Dionysus\, the god of the grape harvest\, winemaking and wine in Greek Mythology\, the production and types of wine in antiquity\, the diet of Ancient Greeks and last but not least the ceremonies and the ritual of the Symposium. \nThe Aegean Taste experience reaches its peak with a 6 course Tasting Menu by Begnis Catering\, with flavors and aromas of the Aegean that are paired greatly with three wines of awarded Greek winemakers.  The menu will change seasonally and the wines monthly so that the lovers of Aegean art\, history and gastronomy will have the chance to explore different culinary combinations. \n\n\nPrerequisites for Participation \n\nBuy your e-ticket at least 2 days before the event and present it at the Cycladic Art Museum entrance 15 minutes before the event\nMinimum participation 5 persons\nIf the minimum guests limit is not reached you will be contacted by mail one day in advance and you will be able to keep your ticket for a future event of your choice or get a full refund\n\nPrivate or Tailor-made Experiences \n\nIf you are interested in a private tour (less than 5 persons) or want to book another day for a group of customers\, colleagues or friends contact us to send you an offer

Your tour guide\, a talented archeologist\, will show you selected exhibits that reveal the history of wine and its role to the everyday life of ancient Greeks. SUMMARY:“Travelling Across the Silk Road”. The first very successful Chinese-Greek music exchange project
DESCRIPTION:At the end of October\, we had the pleasure to welcome for the first time in Greece one of China’s most exceptional Guzheng (ancient Chinese stringed instrument) virtuoso Chang Jing\, together with a talented Xiao (ancient Chinese flute) musician Zhang Di. They came for “The Travelling Across the Silk Road” project\, a music exchange project organized by Meet Culture in co-operation with Trip2taste and was organized under the auspices of: Greek National Tourism Organization \nChang Jing first captivated the attention of the world with the beautiful melody of Guzheng\, as the soloist in the Opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. She also performed together with the famous Greek musician Yanni in 2013 CCTV Spring Festival Gala with an audience of 700 million. \nDuring this very interesting musical exchange project they participated in two “Sound of Silk Concerts”. One of them took place in Athens\, on October 26th\, 2015 at Trianon theater with ancient Greek lyre band “Lyre N’ Rapsody” and the other on October 31st\, 2015 at Boutari Winery on Santorini with Ross Daly\, the famous world musician and Cretan Lyre virtuoso. During their ten day stay they also recorded the first ever Chinese-Greek crossover album with ancient Greek Lyre band “Lyre ’n’ Rhapsody” which will be released both in China and Greece.
